Just under 2 years into our journey as Confetti and Silk we have had the great honour of becomming award winning UK wedding videographers. The company was voted Most popular wedding videographers in the whole of the UK, quite some achievement given the limited weddings we have been able to shoot compared to our competitors at the moment. Our Managing Director Stuart was also voted Most Popular new videographer in Greater London for 2016, we must be doing somehting right. These awards were part of the International Wedding Industry Expert Awards held in February 2016.
These awards have been running for a number of years and we are now standing alongside some of our wedding industry peers as being in receipt of them. The awards require you to be voted for over a period of a few weeks where past couples can vote for you after recieving an initial nomination annonymously.
It’s testament to our brand and ethos of how to work with our couples, before, during and after their wedding days that so many voted for us and allowed us to scoop the win. A huge thank you to everyone who voted, we couldn’t have done it without you, really we couldn’t.
It’s a very nice feeling to be able to write ‘award winning’ infront of our business name now. Time to order some new marketing materials!
With each of our wedding films we try to put as much effort into creating something unique that will mean something specifically to that couples style and tastes that it’s a great honour so many of them voted for us.
Our Google reviews are currently at 5 stars too, which I believe to be among the highest in London itself and definately the most for Greenwich. Most couples note our professionalism, discretion on the day and ability to capture key moments of the wedding day on video without imposing ourselves on the day or detracting attention away from the couple or the event itself.
Roll on the next awards, here’s to being able to call ourselves ‘multi’ award winning videographers sometime soon!
